Da Nang is a fantastic destination and highly recommend it. We stayed on the beach which was beautiful white sands. Our hotel was called Rosamia and was fabulous. The food goes without saying was incredible. Hands down the best food i have ever tasted anywhere in the world. Definitely use grab to get around. So cheap it was crazy. Ba na hills to the bridge is an absolute must and the cooking class we did was brilliant. When you first arrive though and get a taxi they ripped us off and charged around 400.000 dong, about $28 NZD. It should only have been around 150.000 Dong which is about $10 NZD. So once we settled in we always used Grab. We already planning our next trip.

I should have split my nights between Da Nang and Hoi An. Loved Hoi A but it was almost an hour away by Grab. Da Nang is great but 7 nights was too long when the water was not optimal for beach swimming in January.

Beautiful place, my third trip there. Hoi An is my favourite place to visit. Planned to cycle around Danang, but due to wet weather, plan shelved.
Getting around is easy with Grab, food is great.
Spend sometime at the beach, enjoyed the sound of the waves, quite therapeutic. May go back again!!

First and foremost, Da Nang is a very safe city. Probably one of the safest cities I've ever been to. Lots of great restaurants, bars, entertainment. The beaches are fantastic, water was nice and warm. Lots of things to do in and around Da Nang. You will see much more of the city if you rent a scooter, which are super cheap.
Speaking of scooters, I wish Vietnam as a whole would make it easier for tourists to have insurance while they ride scooters. They make it so difficult, that pretty much everybody just rides with no insurance and really illegally. I didn't have a problem with that, but it would be nice if Vietnam as a whole excepted everyone around the world's international licenses. It wouldn't be just great for the tourists, I think it would benefit the people of Vietnam, because people could go to more places and spend more money.

A wonderful stay in Da Nang! We had a room on the top floor which had the best view of the city and the beach. The hotel were very helpful, especially when it came to booking a tour of Ba Na Hills. They arranged a tour with hotel pick up plus a buffet lunch, which turned out cheaper than any tour we found online. Definitely recommend this hotel
The location and view from hotel and magnificent, im choose room with sea view. the sea view have a sunrice facing direct to the hotel which add up to the best view. We dont use air cond as the wheather in Da Nang is cold already. We just open the window let the wind in and the sound of the beach splash is really meditating. Love it.
Bobby, Mercy and Thoa were very helpful staff members who went out of their way to see to our needs. The hotel is situated about 5 minutes walk to My Khe beach, and close to many supermarkets and eating places. Da Nang International Airport is about 15 minutes away by Grab.
