This was the perfect place. The location is right in the heart of Asakusa’s most popular tourist spots, yet still hidden and quiet. After four weeks in Japan and 7 pieces of luggage later, it was nice to have a real bed and enough space to walk around it! It was like an apartment as it included a small kitchen. I would live here if I could!

The room is big, and we love the japanese tatami concept in the room. Modern & traditional combined. It’s just next to Tawaramachi Stn, which has direct Ginza line. Very easy to travel to Ginza, Shibuya, Ueno. No train transfer needed. Tho a bit walk to Nakamise Dori St, it’s still very convenient. Love it.!

I liked this temple and surrounding garden and shrines a lot. We came back twice, as we wanted to experience the atmosphere during the evening as well. Just like everything in Japan, it can be extremely crowded during the day, I am talking about masses and masses of tourists but if you get up super early, you can beat the crowds.

Absolutely overrun by tourists during the day, even off-season. If you're really interested in this place, please make sure to learn about local customs, keep in mind that this is a place of worship, and then come here in the early morning to see what it can be like.
Don't be a dick. Respect that people actually come here for praying, and try not to shove your phone into their faces as they do.

Give yourself time to explore the market and shops nearby. Take an opportunity to stay in the Temple complex and soak up the culture, so many visitors are in there traditional Kimonos and formal wear as this is a 'working' temple, so beautiful.

Asakusa, where the Sensoji Temple is located, is one of our favourite areas to explore. Kappabashi Street, is a colourful street of beautiful kitchen knives, bowls, tea & sake cups, kitchen goods, and more. Beyond the main roads, its feels very livable and comfortable, with small local shops to discover.

The oldest temple in Japan I read (or maybe the oldest Buddhist temple in Japan). A beautiful temple complex and one of the prime sights of Tokyo. I was lucky enough to be staying a couple of minutes walk away, so walked through it or past it every day of my stay.

The Kaminarimon Gate and temple grounds are always open so when it's HOT and HUMID during the day, we visited many of these during the twilight and evening hours. Many are well lit and beautiful at night. Or early mornings!

Great location, very close to one of the Ginza Line Tawaramachi Station exits! Great free onsen in the hotel! Easy walk to the Sensoji Temple and surrounding shops and restaurants! The room is very small, as is usually in this popular area, but having access to their onsen was wonderful! We also had the option to have the cleaning staff come into our room, or not. If not, there was always a large bag of fresh towels, yukata, room slippers, and instant coffee/tea and toiletries waiting outside our room door by the time we returned.
The breakfast is included and you can get as much bread as you like, same with the teas. Location is perfectly in the heart of Asakusa, just minutes away from Sensoji temple, Donqui, Rox mall and Uniqlo if you're into shopping
Very close to sensoji temple. Lots of food and shopping in the area. free luggage storage up to one week before check-in and between reservations. We left for one night to go to Fujiyoshida and the hotel stored our luggage since we have a confirmed booking for the next day. Free amenities include coffee, tea and shower/bath items.
This hotel seems like a boutique hotel, (I could be wrong), but I loved it. Although the rooms are quite small. We had 4 checked luggage’s and it was a bit of a struggle to move around in but the place was in a quiet neighborhood. About a 7-10 min walk to Sensoji Temple. The room was clean and the staff were so nice. Especially the lady who helped check us in. She was so kind.
This property is definitely worth the stay! Eventho its not right infront of the metro station, there’s sooo many interesting spots around the area. You get to discover the area better! Sensoji temple is so near! Kappabashi is just around the corner as well! The accommodation is spacious!
Amenities in the room. Location. There was a 7 11 walkable distance.
The staff wasnt always around. When they were there, they were very helpful.
Sensoji temple was also walkable. Subway was about 10 to 15 mins walk.
