Location can’t be beat. The staff were so nice. So nice. Breakfast was outstanding and the one thing I like the most was I was able to keep the temperature of the room cool. So hard to find in some hotels in Japan in winter! Most only allow you to heat the room. It was nice too keep the room colder to sleep. Also, everyone was professional and sweet. Want to come back soon. 🙌

Location to the train station was a short 4 minute walk. The staff was acccompdating.
My dinner restaurant was a 1 minute walk.
The whole Dormy Inn concept was good before, but has definitely gotten much more solid. I was surprised at the variety of the seasonal and regional breakfast choices.

The property was in a great location and very quiet. It was close to the station but far enough from the hustle and bustle of the station. It was less than a 5 minute walk from lots of restaurants and shops.
The breakfast every morning was delicious and had a different selection on both days that we stayed there. The staff was also very friendly and helpful.

Directly connected to Akita station, did not have to step out of the building to access the station. also, a 7-eleven directly connected to the hotel lobby via a side door. Room was very wide and bed was comfortable. Room was impeccably clean as well
Excellent location which is just opposite the Akita station. The room is sizeable for triple sharing. The staff is friendly and provided excellent service. We delivered our luggage and they stored prior to our arrival. They even delivered to our room before we check in. The hotel is close to many restaurants and shopping malls, and within walking distance to attractions.
My family and I loved staying here. Everyone was so friendly and welcoming. The rooms were clean and comfortable. There were plenty of parking spaces and it was easy to find by car. This was a good location as it wasn’t too far from Akita station or from the Oga peninsula which was our reason for visiting. ありがとございました！おにぎりわおいしかたです!
Dormy Inn is always my first choice with wonderful breakfast, onsen and guest laundry. Dormy Inn Akita was a comfortable walk from Akita Station with JR and Shinkansen service. It was convenient for train transportation to Oga, Akita Port, Omagari, Kakunodate and other Akita destinations. The Akita Bus Station in front of the train station has direct airport buses and buses to other destinations on regular schedules. The location was also easily walkable to all choices of delicious food and directly across the street from Senshu Park.
Mr. Kadowaki and his wife were excellent hosts. The house and garden are simply stunning, recently built but in the traditional Japanese style with tatami mats and sliding shoji paper screen doors.
I slept comfortably and was greeted with a homemade breakfast in the morning and a courteous ride back to Akita station.
staff are very nice. Hotel looks old fashioned from outside, but inside is great! Room is big enough and clean. 10min walk from Akita station and lots of restaurants along the street
