When we arrived, someone gave us a tour of the hotel. Subsequently, she suggested places to visit or eat, and remained available for our questions. plus there was always freshly prepared food on the table. it was very warm. in addition to the smell of the hotel which was very pleasant. Ultimately, the meals were very good. it was homemade food made with love. they were very respectful of my gluten allergy. If we visit again, this hotel is gonna be our first choice!

It has a beautiful garden with plenty of seating (which we couldn't really use because of the rain. In the morning we got some coffee, tea and banana bread from Steve and made some extra breakfast ourselves. Damariscotta is close, with a lot of nice restaurants. Steve send details beforehand, with a lot of tips and ideas.

The Newagen Seaside Inn is a very special place, exceptionally friendly and with outstanding staff from all over the world. In the evening we had a superb meal at their very atmospheric pub, chatting with locals, including a lobster fisherman and enjoying live music; it was a fascinating experience. It has an incredible location, a little off the beaten track, in this location you are at one with pure beauty. What a find, our stay was too short and we didn't want to leave. Given the opportunity we would love to return.
