When we arrived, someone gave us a tour of the hotel. Ultimately, the meals were very good. it was homemade food made with love. they were very respectful of my gluten allergy. If we visit again, this hotel is gonna be our first choice!

The place is lovely. We were only there for 1 night. It has a beautiful garden with plenty of seating (which we couldn't really use because of the rain. In the morning we got some coffee, tea and banana bread from Steve and made some extra breakfast ourselves. Damariscotta is close, with a lot of nice restaurants. Steve send details beforehand, with a lot of tips and ideas.

In the evening we had a superb meal at their very atmospheric pub, chatting with locals, including a lobster fisherman and enjoying live music; it was a fascinating experience. It has an incredible location, a little off the beaten track, in this location you are at one with pure beauty. What a find, our stay was too short and we didn't want to leave. Given the opportunity we would love to return.
