Convenientemente situado no centro da cidade de Chiang Mai, o Villa Thapae fica a menos de 3-4 minutos a pé do Sunday Walking Street (mercado) e do Portão Thapae. Villa Thapae is an oasis! The yard with pool, chairs and beautiful Thai pergola within a garden is completely cozy and perfect to chill after a busy Chiang Mai sightseeing day/night. The staff is perfectly nice and wonderful. Rooms were top, furnished with attention to detail and great accessories. The bathroom on the 2nd floor featured an open sky shower, which was extraordinary. Location is 1A - perfect, quiet street and neighborhood, but still only 5-7 minutes to the borders of old town, markets, restaurants etc.

Easy walk to crazy horse, Jira restaurant for delicious cheap meals, 7 eleven and Skugga Farm for nice coffee and fresh bread. Our room had a beautiful view of the mountain. We had a fridge and the bed was very comfortable. The place has a lovely feel with the nice garden. Owner organised transport for us to the hot springs so we could take the local bus from there back to Chiang Mai. Would definitely stay again.

Very modern and clean hotel. It is in the center of the old town and Nisit, our host, is really great! You can book all tours directly with Nisit for a good price.

I had a great and memorable stay at this hotel. The owner is the nicest and most caring lady that I have ever met. She made sure that I got everything I needed for a great stay. Thanks to her, I felt at home. My room was spacious and newly renovated; it had a balcony, AC, and all the necessary amenities. The nights were quiet, so I slept really well. Hotel location is on the southern side, but city centre is easily reachable by grab or scooter, which you can rent on the property for a cheaper price! You can eat at the hotel cafe, or there is a 7/11 and food stalls within a 5-minute walk. You also can do laundry on the spot. I would recommend for short and longer stays as the price/quality ratio is 10 out of 10. I ended up extending my stay for a longer time. If I have a chance, I will definitely come back. Thank you.

Great location on the edge of town it's really quiet but we could cycle to Maya Mall, Fashion market and Angkaew Reservoir in about 10 minutes. Their are lots of varied eating options locally from 50 baht Thai to top notch European cuisine. Check Google Maps, you won't be disappoint! The staff are delightful and the 'Boss Man' had perfect English and could not have been more pleasant or helpful. Rooms are really comfortable. Beds are European style medium firm the balcony is beautiful, plenty of electrical sockets with desk and table for two. Coffee making in room, separate kitchen facilities. Really nice bathroom with hot and cold water. There is a full size swimming pool within walking distance at Centre of the Universe. They had 2 bikes and we cycled everywhere we wanted and had a really relaxed stay. This part of Chiang Mai is clearly where the well off locals live. It's absolutely beautiful with fields and mountain views. We felt totally safe walking and cycling. Crazy good value for genuine European 3 star room facilities in 4 star location. I think they also do monthly rates for those seeking an AirBnB alternative.

Great location and walking distance to Old Town, many temples, Goi (host) was wonderful giving recommendations and chatting along with giving us our send off ride to the airport. She’s so sweet and caring. Snacks and facilities provided for eating on site. There are only 2-3 rooms ever booked at one time so that care can be given to all guests there.

Bem situado em Chiang Mai, o Baan Chiang Maan oferece quartos com ar-condicionado, terraço e Wi-Fi gratuito. Muito bem localizado! Perto de muita coisa e numa ruazinha bem calma. Simples mas tudo muito bem pensado. A banheira foi um plus que contribuiu bastante para meu relaxamento.
