Spacious 2 bedroom lodge like house on the side of a hill in North Nelson. Super quiet with a gorgeous night sky. We stayed in the largest unit that had a full kitchen and laundry plus a large living room. A comfortable stop for the 4 of us after the bustle of Wellington. Stayed after taking the ferry to Picton and then driving through wine country. Mark is a great host!

Stations Inn is situated in Hokitika and has a garden and terrace. All rooms feature a kitchenette and a private bathroom with tiled walk-in shower.. Spaciousness, nice views, rural flair

Offering free Wi-Fi, and a guest lounge with a fireplace, Drifters Inn just 80 metres from the famous Hanmer Springs Thermal Reserve. It offers rooms with flat-screen satellite TV. Excellent location right opposite the hot springs. Wonderful welcome by Debbie at reception who also gave us an orientation of the inn. Excellent kitchen facilities you can use if you want to. Very clean and well appointed room. Exceeded our expectations and very good value for money.

Heated bathroom floors, cozy heated beds, community kitchen and great communication from the staff. The shampoo and conditioner were magical! A great stay!

Porters Lodge is a family friendly oasis in the hills of the Craigieburn Valley, positioned just off the well beaten track of State Highway 73 but easily within reach of Christchurch. Everything was perfect!!! I don't think I'll ever forget the Milky Way in one night :)

Kaniere Hotel is an old authentic Kiwi country pub with bar and restaurant only 5 minutes' drive or 40 minutes' walk from Hokitika Township. Free WiFi is featured and the hotel is dog friendly. Location is amazing, so close to the river. There is a little park for doggy walks if you are travelling with your companion animals. Petrol station is near by, too for those who might need to refill before they travel further. The place is amazingly clean, when I saw the bathrooms I thought - I wish every place had this kind of bathrooms! The room was very cozy, neat and again very clean. That was exactly what I needed in the end of my long day. I traveled with my two little foxies and hosts very happy to have us all. Thank you so much for providing such an exceptional accomodation!!!
