Beautifully decorated for Xmas, well organised as we arrived late, friendly staff, clean rooms and a fully equipped kitchen for guests to use. The location is perfect to get to the Hot Pools and restaurants around. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Spacious 2 bedroom lodge like house on the side of a hill in North Nelson. Super quiet with a gorgeous night sky. We stayed in the largest unit that had a full kitchen and laundry plus a large living room. A comfortable stop for the 4 of us after the bustle of Wellington. Stayed after taking the ferry to Picton and then driving through wine country. Mark is a great host!

What a fantastic experience. We stayed for two nights and would live to visit again to stay longer. What a beautiful mountain lodge and perfect vase for outdoor activities and sports. Really good food and drinks are served as well.

The owner, Grant, was exceptionally accommodating and attentive. Everything about it, from its charm of the local vibe to it's location was fantastic. Featuring a bar, The Blue Pub is located in Methven in the Canterbury region, 13 km from Mount Hutt and 26 km from Mt. Hutt. The staff were excellent even giving us a lift to Opuke Spa and picking us up afterwards. Food in the pub was very good.
