Ideally located in the centre of Kyoto, Kokonoe Machiya offers air-conditioned rooms, a garden, free WiFi and a shared lounge. A perfect place for a Kyoto visit if you don't want to be around the tourist masses. The place is newly renovated and just thought out well, longest sleeps I had in Amy of my accommodations so far. The host (Tony) is a really nice guy with a lot of knowledge about the area and loves to talk and give recommendations.

Perfect location. This was such a cool hotel and lots of details were meticulously chosen for the vibe. The staff was helpful and friendly. They downplayed their English abilities when asked, but their English was excellent. There is a laundry on site which can be helpful for packing light. The room was spacious, maybe around a standard US room size, with a spacious shower. There is a little outdoor cafe right outside and this hotel is just steps away from many historic streets. This hotel was truly unique.

Attractively set in the Higashiyama Ward district of Kyoto, HOTEL LEGASTA KYOTO SHIRAKAWA SANJO is situated 500 metres from Samurai Kembu Kyoto, 500 metres from Shoren-in Temple and 1.1 km from Gion... the room was decently big (we had a shoebox in tokyo so this was considered big), very clean and modern looking. there are two hotel legastas, this one is further from the station whereas the other is just across the street. the toilet is a separate area from the sink and the shower which i liked, more hygienic! i really loved this toilet. staff were very nice as well. definitely not a big chain type of amenities but you have everything you need here if you are just using the room to sleep, rest and shower.

This place is awesome. Very clean. Has everything you want in the room (fridge, microwave, teapot, tea, coffee), you also have your own washroom with a bathtub. They have an air purifier and AC. Everything was perfect here, loved this place!

Featuring free WiFi throughout the property, JP INN Kyoto Ekimae Izutsucho is situated in Kyoto, 600 metres from Kyoto Station and 1.3 km from Kyoto Shigaku Kaikan Conference Hall. Everything. We loved the convenience of everything in the apartment and also the fact that we could wash and dry clothes within our room. Very impressed by the convenient dividing of trash for the environment. The staff were helpful and kind and even though we had to clean our own room it was handy to have all the cleaning materials available and everythign so sterile when needing new towels, bath mat, amenities etc. We would stay again for sure!
