So cosy and a typical Japanese home, comfortable, quiet but sociable if you talk with other people in the common room. They are very nice, they make the best for you and give you all the information around to stay, and enjoy your trip ! The owner and his wife are amazing 😍 Thanks again !!

The owner was very helpful and friendly. Our arrival was a couple hours delayed and he kindly waited for us to welcome us/check us in. Easy communication via WhatsApp should you have any questions/concerns or even want some Kyoto recommendations. We enjoyed the beauty and charm of the building. The walls are thin so everyone is encouraged to be respectful and quiet throughout your stay which we were fine with. And the floor futons were extremely comfortable!

A very quiet, calm and peaceful hotel. The rooms were really big and had everything you need. There is even a washing machine, dryer that you can use in the hotel. The staff was attentive and polite. I will definitely go again. Thank you.

Featuring free WiFi throughout the property, JP INN Kyoto Ekimae Izutsucho is situated in Kyoto, 600 metres from Kyoto Station and 1.3 km from Kyoto Shigaku Kaikan Conference Hall. Very clean, very spacious rooms, very good location. Comfortable beds and pillows. Don't be intimidated with their garbage segregation policy. It's very easy: bottle, food containers and the rest are burnable trash. The hotel and the surrounding area can be a little too quiet, though, if you're used to the noise of the city.

They did a good job of communicating and had clear instructions and expectations. The staff was friendly and they provided clean towels and extra coffee and other items available at all times near the front desk. The room had a washing machine and a bathtub.

Very big room, very nicely decorated and all you need was there. The location is also great as it's very close to Kyoto station and there are some nice sightseeing spots closeby.
