All guest rooms in the inn are equipped with a flat-screen TV. The rooms come with a kettle and a private bathroom with free toiletries, while selected rooms also feature a kitchen fitted with a fridge. At The New Inn Halse each room comes with bed linen and towels. Lovely warm welcome, and staff that really couldn't do enough for us. The onsite restaurant serves a range of dishes, catering for vegans and vegetarians also. It's a community-owned pub/cafe/restaurant so the atmosphere is very friendly and it was always busy - There's a positive buzz that's omnipresent. Breakfast was toast, pastries, and cereals, simply help yourself - We didn't miss a cooked breakfast, at all, there was sufficient to see us into the day. The room was fabulous - Huge bed (large double) that was really comfy, en suite shower was immaculate, and the view from the window onto a country lane from which we regularly saw horses go by. Deadly silent by night, which was great, even with the window open. Will definitely be back!
