Perfect for rustic breaks in the countryside, an Inn is a small property with basic hotel services and typically traditional decor. Inns are fully licensed and have a bar providing food and drinks in the evening – distinguishing them from country or guest houses.
Breakfast was a continental hamper with freshly baked breads and local produce. It was delicious. The room exceeded our expectations and was large and comfortable with a sea view as well as views over the Inn gardens. A fan cooled the room on a particularly hot stay. Although it was obviously a popular place, we weren't' troubled by noise. The hosts were most helpful and kind, responding to requests promptly and in a friendly way.
The smugglers inn is lovely, we staying in the captains suite, fabulous accomadation with a delicious breakfast basket delivererd every morning. There is a lovely beer garden with wild rabbits scampering about early morning! Good food i
n the restaurant also. Mark the owner, and staff are all very nice and helpful.
We enjoyed our stay at the Parks Guest House. This charming Georgian building had a very homey feel and was only a fifteen-minute walk from the beach. The car park was ample and the breakfasts were abundant in options and very tasty. The hotel was comfortable throughout and good value for money. An excellent stay; we will happily stay here again if we return to the area.
Lovely quintessentially English hotel. Delightful, obviously hard working staff, everyone very friendly and helpful.Lots of comfortable seating areas. Very comfortable and immaculate beds. Value for money. A tasty dinner with pleasant wines at a very fair price. Great location with beautiful gardens. Lovely to be able to read all about the history of the building and read the comments in the original guest book. The next time I will hopefully get to use the inviting swimming pool.
The room was superb with balcony overlooking the Boat Harbour , very spacious ,couldn’t fault it .the breakfast excellent as was the dinner.would love to go back again .the staff very accommodating
