The community is very proud of their community owned pub, and rightfully so! Breakfast is set out by lovely volunteers, and manager Lucy gave us a wonderful welcome. Lots of nice walks in the area (with a helpful guide to a few walks provided) and it is a good base for adventures into Exmoor.

A place with real character. Staff was extremely helpful. When a breakdown caused as major delay arriving, (after midnight), we had access to our room, and the staff even provided sandwiches for our very late dinner. Meals were convenient and delicious.

This was a lovely small hotel, like a B & B very close to friends who we were visiting in Langport. The staff were so kind and helpful. The bed was, honestly, one of the most comfortable I have slept in. Each staff member went above and beyond to make sure our stay was perfect. I was actually a little sad to move on to London after our few days in the country side.

Very comfortable and clean rooms, staff in the bar and restaurant were happy to help and friendly throughout. The food was also very good with a varied menu, I would definitely recommend the The Greyhound Inn.
The dinner in the restaurant was promptly served, well prepared, attractively presented with an imaginative menu suitable for a small hotel. The breakfast was also varied, modern, flexible and prompt. The bed was large and comfortable. The room was large and attractive.
Helpful, knowledgeable and cheerful staff.
Excellent breakfast and dinners.
I arrived alone , so I appreciated occasional chats with super receptionist, THANK YOU.
Very easy to find and a very charming inn. The room was spacious and very clean and the beds were super comfortable. Breakfast was delightful and the staff were super friendly!
The room was similar to the Premier Inn ones that we've been to previously, but the huge bed was superior and even the duvet which we're nut really used to was just right in terms of temperature.
The breakfast was on a par with Premier.
The hotel was quiet and clean. The staff were helpful. The Inn was next door to a Harvester which served late on Sunday and Monday. The breakfast was good. Parking excellent.
Rustic setting, lovely village. Friendly staff. Quality food.
No frills hotel that has a really rustic charm. Bed was very comfortable. Allowed dogs to stay.
We loved the platters served in the restaurant.
The Manor House is an exceptional building which dates back to Norman times, possiby earlier. It has an especial charm in that it has maintained the aire of being rustic. Architecturally it is a joy. The lady who runs it is an excellent cook and she and her son are frendly and entertaining hosts. I shall be returning to this home from home.
The Greyhound is an exceptional historic Inn and the quality of the interior is amazing. The guest rooms were faultless - the decor and furniture were fantastic and high quality. Very spacious, quiet, and with beautiful views.
