Well trained and helpful. Food is excellent and menu is surprising for a small country inn. The inn itself is very old but in good condition and has a very nice feeling about it.

Nestled on the bank of the Windrush River, the building oozes character, with log fires, flagstone floors, and traditional oak-framed ceilings. The Staff there made us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. The two guys there are amazing hosts. Nothing was too much trouble. Customer service was beyond excellent. The food is excellent, the atmosphere excellent. We will be returning. I really can't praise this place enough. For what you get unbelievable value for money.

Just 3 miles from Burford, the Inn is in perfect country for walking and cycling. Historic Oxford and Stratford-Upon-Avon can both be reached in about 40 minutes’ drive. The location for a Cotswolds visit was perfect and quaint. The staff bent over backwards to make our stay absolutely lovely. They freshened the room everyday whether we needed it done or not. Bathroom was very modern. The food was amazing, made to order, and served in the restaurant or take away to your room. Dinner starts at 6, but as we were starving and jetlagged, they served us early! We were the only ones in the restaurant! We would stay there again in a heartbeat!!
