Loved the authenticity of the Guesthouse, pub, and village. The staff was excellent and incredibly accommodating. Great food and wine, cozy atmosphere. They were very accommodating of our vegan and gluten free diets, which was a pleasant surprise.

This is an unusual gem of a place. Spotlessly clean, with excellent staff and service. The curry I had for dinner was one of the best I have had. The location was ideal for me as visiting relatives near by, and in the middle of Oxfordshire with fabulous countryside around. We went for a walk and once clear of the main road found a walk through a picture perfect English village and field of wheat ready to harvest.

A really lovely spot by the river. Perfect for outdoor dining. But indoor is super too, and a great bar. The food is exceptional. The breakfast is so good it makes you want another! Dinner was off the scale. Can't wait to come back.

Lovely grounds and location. Clean comfortable rooms. Everything working and up to date. Food was excellent particularit breakfast. Staff super friendly. Beautiful floodlight terrace. Gardens maintained and lovely. Parking easy. All effortless. We stayed overnight with family and had dinner in the terrace room. There was a wedding on that they were solicitous in telling us about ahead but we ate in a different part of the hotel and it was all lovely.

Lady who met us was very kind and altered the double bed to make twin beds for us on the day. Many apologies for not informing you beforehand. Very comfortable room, quiet and good shower. Dinner and breakfast were both really good and some choice for vegetarians.
