Located on the Parkgate's Parade in Wirral, with fabulous views over the Dee estuary to North Wales, the Ship Hotel offers fresh, locally-sourced, hearty food, free Wi-Fi, and free parking on site. Everything was perfect. It is a great little hotel with a wonderful pub. Recently refurbished, so the rooms are great. I will definitely return when I come back to this area. Also great value for money.

Staff very friendly and helpful. Food amazing both dinner and breakfast. Beautiful setting. Room tastefully decorated and spotless. All public areas clean and well presented. Will definitely be going back.

Golden Eagle is located in Chester, 700 metres from Chester Racecourse and 5.3 km from Chester Zoo. This 4-star inn features free WiFi and a bar. It's a classic, three rooms over a sedate Pub. The room was eclectic and cozy. The owner Martin was warm and gracious. The pub serverd a great steak and the continental breakfast really set me up for the day. I like small hotels and pubs with rooms.

The characterful, 18th-century Badger Inn provides stylishly appointed accommodation, 5 miles outside Winsford, Cheshire. Super place, the staff here are really excellent and the best part of the stay. Everyone was both friendly and professional, the standard of customer care is about the best I ever experienced and far beyond what you get normally in this kind of accommodation. The rooms are clean, beds are very comfortable and apart from a bit of noise in the evening from patrons in the bar and restaurant it's really peaceful. Food is really excellent, especially when you pick more local options. While not cheap it's not at all expensive given the quality, care and service solid 10/10. Breakfast in particular is exceptional, even got in some marmite for me which was a lovely touch. WiFi, parking and general facilities are top! I think the only topic would be if you have mobility issues the stairs up to rooms are pretty steep. Overall I cannot find any faults at all, a really great experience and can only recommend it.

Dating back to 1860, The Dog in Over Peover is in the heart of the quaint village. This typical village inn offers a restaurant and a pub serving real local and national ales. Excellent stay, friendly obliging staff. Incredible Sunday roast ! Clean comfortable room with view of the countryside.

The location was better than we had expected. Our room was spacious, with a beautiful semi-firm bed. No noise from outside, and we slept like angels. Breakfast was romantic, overlooking the water. There is an excellent selection of help-yourself continental style and warm breakfasts from the menu. The staff were always super professional and cheerful. Chester's town centre is a 10-minute stroll along many historical landmarks, restaurants, and shops.

Situated in the Cheshire countryside, only 20 minutes’ drive from Manchester city centre, The Black Swan offers elegant rooms, free Wi-Fi, free parking, and an on-site pub restaurant. We chose the Black Swan as we needed an accomodation more or less close to the airport. When we arrived I was very positively surprised about the location. We enjoyed the food and the bar. The staff was extremely friendly and the room very clean. Value for money is absolutely fine.
