Located on the Parkgate's Parade in Wirral, with fabulous views over the Dee estuary to North Wales, the Ship Hotel offers fresh, locally-sourced, hearty food, free Wi-Fi, and free parking on site. We stayed 3 Nights, would have stayed longer if we could have. Lovely location, Food was excellent, Beds were very comfy & Staff were among the best we encountered on our 4 week Holiday. We will definitely be returning for another stay.

Alvanley Arms, Cotebrook features a garden, terrace, a restaurant and bar in Tarporley. Located around 22 km from Chester Zoo, the inn with free WiFi is also 29 km away from Tatton Park. The room and bathroom were fantastic!! My steak and ale pie for dinner was lovely. And a full English breakfast was included in the rate. Amazing!

Golden Eagle is located in Chester, 700 metres from Chester Racecourse and 5.3 km from Chester Zoo. This 4-star inn features free WiFi and a bar. I have stayed here before. I like the owner Martin and his staff. The Pub has great tunes and a respectful crowd. The room is eclectic and comfy the water pressure is good the towels are soft and the breakfast is excellent . Sunday roast was delicious

The characterful, 18th-century Badger Inn provides stylishly appointed accommodation, 5 miles outside Winsford, Cheshire. Super place, the staff here are really excellent and the best part of the stay. Everyone was both friendly and professional, the standard of customer care is about the best I ever experienced and far beyond what you get normally in this kind of accommodation. The rooms are clean, beds are very comfortable and apart from a bit of noise in the evening from patrons in the bar and restaurant it's really peaceful. Food is really excellent, especially when you pick more local options. While not cheap it's not at all expensive given the quality, care and service solid 10/10. Breakfast in particular is exceptional, even got in some marmite for me which was a lovely touch. WiFi, parking and general facilities are top! I think the only topic would be if you have mobility issues the stairs up to rooms are pretty steep. Overall I cannot find any faults at all, a really great experience and can only recommend it.

Dating back to 1860, The Dog in Over Peover is in the heart of the quaint village. This typical village inn offers a restaurant and a pub serving real local and national ales. What a lovely, super dog friendly place, amazing staff, great food, comfy, spacious yet warm and cosy. Hospitality at its best. We were welcomed so warmly and treated so very well by all. The most enjoyable stay one could ask for. We were extremely well fed and watered with delicious food and cocktails by the most friendly, delightful staff. All our requests were accommodated with ease. Charlie dog had a fantastic time too, he had so much fuss and his very own treat made for him, they are sooooo dog friendly. The rooms were very warm and pleasant, I appreciated the pretty cups and saucers, real coffee etc. They also smell wonderful, seriously the nicest smelling room I've stayed in. Very comfortable beds. Nice furnishings. A nice clean bathroom with walk in shower and lovely soap that didn't make my skin react, for a change, much appreciated! Breakfast really was excellent as was the coffee. I cannot recommend this place enough. There are nice little touches everywhere that set it apart from the norm. But the staff here, they really are wonderful. A home from home but with far better food and hospitality!

The Boathouse Inn & Riverside Rooms offers accommodation in Chester. This property provides guests with a terrace and some rooms have river views. Free WiFi and on-site parking is provided. The directions to the property were excellent as was the check-in greeting. The room and location were great, alongside the river and a pleasant short walk into Chester. Would stay here again.
