The staff could not have been more friendly and helpful they were all excellent. The bar and restaurant area are amazing places to sit with so much character. It's a beautiful place to stay and to top it all the breakfast is delicious !! 10/10.

The room is eclectic and comfy the water pressure is good the towels are soft and the breakfast is excellent . Sunday roast was delicious

The characterful, 18th-century Badger Inn provides stylishly appointed accommodation, 5 miles outside Winsford, Cheshire. With a cosy bar and restaurant, this traditional village inn offers full cooked breakfasts, free parking and free Wi-Fi. Super place, the staff here are really excellent and the best part of the stay. Everyone was both friendly and professional, the standard of customer care is about the best I ever experienced and far beyond what you get normally in this kind of accommodation. The rooms are clean, beds are very comfortable and apart from a bit of noise in the evening from patrons in the bar and restaurant it's really peaceful. Food is really excellent, especially when you pick more local options. While not cheap it's not at all expensive given the quality, care and service solid 10/10. Breakfast in particular is exceptional, even got in some marmite for me which was a lovely touch. WiFi, parking and general facilities are top! I think the only topic would be if you have mobility issues the stairs up to rooms are pretty steep. Overall I cannot find any faults at all, a really great experience and can only recommend it.
