Celmira and her family were so nice and made sure we had everything we needed and were safe when we went on excursions (nearby town with Thermal water and little bars and shops (30min walking), and a waterfall (1,5h walking). The food was incredible, we're still talking about it haha. Super chill area, not much to do but relax and enjoy the moment. Stayed for 3 nights which was the perfect length. The property is really small, we were the only guests, which was nice after a few weeks of travelling. Loved the down-to-earth vibe with bucket showers and honest conversations with the hosts.

I always like to make a challenge of finding the most desolate and undisturbed places on the planet, and Los Longos fits easily in my personal top 5. It doesn’t get more off the grid and ocean front than this. Complete disconnection with everything and reconnection with your deepest self. The hosts are accommodating in every sense and their cat is the pinnacle of tranquility, in which I took a great example to mostly do the same.

The cabanas are amazing ! We are 50m away from the beach. I can only recommend this place. Lorena is so nice and have a lot of recommandation around El Valle.

This place is really Magic ! 🥰 is full connect with the natural you enjoy only the sound of the natural and also Carlos and Valentina are great! Really love this place also is amazing just make the walk to the place is a great adventure. This place really shows up the love of Valentina and Carlos super highly recommended!!

Located in Bahía Solano, Posada El Acuario offers beachfront accommodation 1.2 km from El Almejal Beach and provides various facilities, such as a garden, a shared lounge and a terrace. The proprietors are lovely, helpful people who are invested in ensuring that their guests have the best possible experience. They arranged a great day hike to view frogs and other wildlife. Of special note, vegan cuisine is not readily available in town so Marta prepared delicious meals for me at a very reasonable cost. It was much appreciated.

Mamá Orbe Family Eco Farm has a garden, private beach area, a terrace and bar in El Valle. The accommodation features a 24-hour front desk, airport transfers, a tour desk and free WiFi. Everything about the is place is special to me. This intimate setting with nature allows you to press pause and connect with what is truly important… Mother Earth and human beings. Coffee and practicing Spanish with Mama Orbe in the morning… activities during the day, food made with love. This place is special Also… do yourself a favor and walk the beach south until you can’t walk any further. You’ll meet a freshwater lagoon that is a SPECTACULAR place to swim and relax. Probably a 45 minute walk but well worth it!!

Featuring a garden, a shared lounge as well as a terrace, Casa Hostal Amar-illa is located in El Valle, 200 metres from Playa El Almejal. The Hostel is nice to meet new people and the building is clean.

Set in Nuquí, Posada Nativa Brisa y Mar features a garden, terrace, restaurant, and free WiFi. The accommodation features room service, a 24-hour front desk and organising tours for guests. Marina the owner is wonderful, and super helpful, as is everyone else at the Posada. It’s right on the beach with an upstairs common area to relax in hammocks and watch the sunset. I loved my stay here and wished it could have been longer.

Boasting a garden, Posada Hannany is set in Arusí and also provides a terrace and a restaurant. There is free private parking and the property features paid airport shuttle service. My stay at Hannany was wonderful, Nachas food was so delicious and Eliazar was an excellent guide. They made me feel at home. The housing is basic, but more than enough. I highly recommend doing the 1 hour jungle trek, swimming in the river and going back on the river with a canoe, with Eliazar. It was so beautiful. They have constructed a resting place by the river, where you can stay overnight in the jungle. For the next time I’d love to do that excursion.
