Celmira and her family were so nice and made sure we had everything we needed and were safe when we went on excursions (nearby town with Thermal water and little bars and shops (30min walking), and a waterfall (1,5h walking). The food was incredible, we're still talking about it haha. Super chill area, not much to do but relax and enjoy the moment. Stayed for 3 nights which was the perfect length. The property is really small, we were the only guests, which was nice after a few weeks of travelling. Loved the down-to-earth vibe with bucket showers and honest conversations with the hosts.

This was the most amazing stay of our 2 week trip in Colombia. Alejandro and Stephanie are very nice and sincere hosts. They advised on tours and gave useful tips and were very helpful. Located in Nuquí, La Aldea del Primitivo features a garden. The accommodation provides a shared kitchen, room service and organising tours for guests. We had such a lovely stay, this place is absolutely magical. Such a special place on the edge of this beautiful little village and the walk through the river, up the stream and into the jungle made it even more magical. A beautiful cabin, (the photos do not do it justice) and a shower under the stars. Valentina, the host, is so kind and welcoming, she made us feel so at home. Could not recommend this place more if you want simple living off the beaten track. Wish we could have stayed longer!

Jimmi was excellent making sure guests were happy. He went above and beyond helping other guests who had an unfortunate set of circumstances.

Everything about the is place is special to me. This intimate setting with nature allows you to press pause and connect with what is truly important… Mother Earth and human beings. Coffee and practicing Spanish with Mama Orbe in the morning… activities during the day, food made with love. This place is special Also… do yourself a favor and walk the beach south until you can’t walk any further. You’ll meet a freshwater lagoon that is a SPECTACULAR place to swim and relax. Probably a 45 minute walk but well worth it!!

Situated in Bahía Solano, 1.5 km from El Almejal Beach, Posada Turística Rocas De Cabo Marzo features accommodation with a garden, free private parking, a shared lounge and a terrace. Extremely attentive staff. Enrique and Nancy are the Best. They are extremely knowledgeable of tours, the área, etc.

Casa Hostal Amar-illa is located in El Valle, 200 metres from Playa El Almejal, and features a garden, a shared lounge and a terrace. The Hostel is nice to meet new people and the building is clean.

Boasting a garden, Posada Hannany is set in Arusí and also provides a terrace and a restaurant. There is free private parking and the property features paid airport shuttle service. My stay at Hannany was wonderful, Nachas food was so delicious and Eliazar was an excellent guide. They made me feel at home. The housing is basic, but more than enough. I highly recommend doing the 1 hour jungle trek, swimming in the river and going back on the river with a canoe, with Eliazar. It was so beautiful. They have constructed a resting place by the river, where you can stay overnight in the jungle. For the next time I’d love to do that excursion.
