We appreciated that the staff helped my husband upstairs with his case (barperson was asked to help) and downstairs (the housekeeper offered to assist him). The breakfast was a bonus and we appreciated the facility for eating our meals purchased from nearby cafes.

Location and size of room. Location is brilliant if you are catching trains at Central or light rail down to Circular Quay. Also bathroom was good, when I found it in the room! Beautiful old building.

Perfect for rustic breaks in the countryside, an Inn is a small property with basic hotel services and typically traditional decor. Inns are fully licensed and have a bar providing food and drinks in the evening – distinguishing them from country or guest houses.
The location of this accomodation is great for us to visit with nearby family. We've used it before when someone is in Hornsby Hospital and it's very close by for that. It's basic but the important things are covered - nice linen, clean rooms and great water pressure in the shower. If you don't want to head out for dinner don't worry - the restaurant is fantastic.
Conveniently located near train station. Had a fantastic dinner there - a special deal which was excellent value and a first rate meal.

The Hornsby Inn was a perfect location for 12 of my family members to stay over New Years. Excellent location to the train station for travel into the city for the fireworks.
The staff were outstanding from the moment you enter the hotel. The room and free continental breakfast were great. We had dinner in the bistro and thoroughly enjoyed it.
