The property felt as if you had stepped into a rural French countryside cottage. It was immaculately clean and well decorated. Meals were unbelievably well prepared with fresh herbs and vegetables, creative dishes, and the most fresh breads. The location was convenient to all attractions in the Hunter valley. Jo had suggestions for wineries we may not have otherwise visited. All dogs and persons who visited the property were friendly and well behaved. We cannot express our gratitude enough for a rejuvenating weekend.

Forstay Motel is just 5 minutes' walk from the beachfront and 12 minutes' drive from Forster Tuncurry Golf Club. Newcastle Airport is a 2-hour drive away. The motel was in a central location, relatively close to shops, cafés and restaurants but also very close to some beautiful walking tracks and the beach. Our room was comfortable and roomy plus there was plenty of parking space for our car. The front desk receptionist was very welcoming, friendly and helpful. I highly recommend staying here, everything was just perfect.

Comfort Inn Shearing Shed is 10 minutes' walk from the historic Old Dubbo Gaol. It is 7 minutes’ drive from Dubbo Golf Course. Bed very comfortable, it was clean and the room was spacious.

Comfort Inn Bishops Lodge. We have: Shear Outback - the Australian Shearers Hall of Fame, Bishops Lodge Historical House & Heritage Rose Garden, Dunera Museum - Hays Internment of Prisoner War Camp Interpretive Centre, Sunset Viewing Area, Hay Golf Course, Hay War Memorial High School, Hay Court House, Bidgee Trail with Aboriginal Artwork painted below the Bridge. We have a fantastic Visitor Information Centre that is open 51/2 days a week, and they are only too happy to assist with any information about Hay, its heritage and surroundings. The King suite was extra large and very well furnished. Comfy bed and separate lounge area. Would like to have stayed longer.

Located opposite Lake Jindabyne, the lively Banjo Paterson Inn, Jindabyne's premium pub offers an on-site brewery, 2 bars, a restaurant and live entertainment. All accommodation features free WiFi access and a 50-inch SMART TV. Highly recommend Banjo Paterson- newly renovated rooms and was surprised that it was able to comfortably accommodate our large group of 7. Breakfast was great, friendly staff and service. The pub downstairs was good and the property was right in front of the lake!

Australian National Maritime Museum is 3.7 km away and The Star Event Centre is 3.9 km from the inn. Space felt safe, was conveniently located, and the check in process was swift and easy. Having a heated en-suite bathroom for a room of 4 people (instead of sharing with the entire hostel) was a very pleasant change from the usual. Housekeeping was reliable and the amenities and general energy of the space was great. The bedrooms' quiet rule was also a welcome change from the usual hostel environment. The hosts replied fast at any time of day, which made me feel even more secure and safe staying here. 10/10 stay. They are also located across the street from a very good techno club, which I really appreciated haha
