Welcome to Llun y Mynydd Nelson Bed and Breakfast Don’t worry if you can’t say our name, one of us can’t either! Llun y Mynydd is Welsh for “View of the Mountains” which we felt was a great name for our new home and cosy bed and breakfast. We are located just off the Great Taste Trail, in a friendly modern neighborhood. A stone throw from the newest Sprig and Fern pub in town, a sumptuous cafe and minutes walk to the newest and best cinema complex as well as a conveniently close winery. We are also walking distance to the brand new Joes Garage and Eat Italy restaurant. A very quick 5 min drive or very easy bike ride to Central Richmond and its shops and amenities 20 Mins to Nelson city 20-30 Mins to Mapua 40-50 Mins to Kaiteriteri and the Abel Tasman, we are very centrally located.

We have been hosting travelers since 2015 and enjoy meeting new people while hearing stories of their background and travels. You will have your own private room in our warm, modern home with your own private bathroom. Welcome to join us in the main lounge area and welcome to use the media room at your leisure, or just relax in our perfectly kept garden. We are happy to collect you from the airport or wherever your drop-off point into Nelson may be with pre-arrangement and if our schedules work-out. A Continental breakfast is included but Nigel can provide a cooked breakfast for an additional fee and his cooking and breakfast spread has been the talk of previous guests for years and years.

Walk across the road to the Alioke Cafe or enjoy one of the 12+ taps of beer at the Sprig and Fern in the afternoon. Or wonder to the cinemas to see a film at the Silky Otter complex and enjoy dinner at either Joes Garage or Eat Italy situated in the same complex. Or if you wish to sample some of the local wines - wonder to the local winery which is also within easy walking distance.
