I had my heart set on Joya Garden cottage the moment I saw it, and it did not disappoint. Everything about it was picture-perfect; Paulina decorated the place beautifully; it had everything we needed and more. The location was secluded yet within walking distance from the town centre. Paulina was a wonderful host and made us feel at home; we would definitely book again should we ever come to Nelson. Thank you

Lush surroundings: the tiny cabins are set back into the forest. You sleep in total darkness and quiet. You awaken to bird song. There’s a hike right from the cabin, and owner Mark is full of good advice of 1,000 other things to do in the region. It’s a relaxed place with a shared kitchen kept neat and tidy and well-equipped. We were there as a couple and enjoyed meeting other travellers, but the place can also be booked for big groups which would be excellent for mountain biking enthusiasts and others. The climb up to the platform bed is pretty steep but the bed was cozy and firm and comfortable.

This was a very nice older home in central Nelson with a 1 room B&B. It was very clean and well kept. The hosts—Janet & Tim—were terrific and very accommodating and friendly! The room was on the small to medium size with a very comfortable bed and very nice bathroom.

Private rooms are clean and cozy. Great location and great pub. Initially I was a bit worried it might be a bit noisy overnight with the pub downstairs but everything quietens down early. It is a perfect blend of good vibes and a nice peaceful place to sleep. Well priced and the staff are awesome.
Great location, very quiet with bird song, and surrounded by trees. The views were absolutely stunning, off street parking was up a private and safe driveway. The house was warm, sunny, and felt homely. We will definitely be back.
Staff were super friendly and offered me a lot of help, laundry was the cheapest so far I’ve done in New Zealand. The beds, bathroom, kitchen are very clean. Location is good, was in a quiet neighborhood and still close to the city center.
The view, the view, the view. We were in the studio at the top of the garden and it was quiet and private and beautiful. It is a good walk up to get there but fortunately we both really like walking anyway. I nearly cancelled this accomodation because of some of the reviews and I would have missed out on a great opportunity. Thanks David for being a great host.
Very good price for a private room in the city centre. Dog friendly and no extra charge which was great! Staff were super lovely and guests also polite and quiet. Have been here before and would go again!
