New for 2023, we have set up a cosy little escape on the farm. Nestled in the quiet valley we call home on the edge of Exmoor is our spacious bell tent comprised of 2 7meter quad-door bell tents joined together to form a kitchen, dining and living space that leads into the bedroom made up of one double and two single beds with a further double pull out bed in the living space, with a gas heated shower and composting toilet to yourselves. Should you require more space for more guests, you can bring your own tents (please see below) Outside, there is a BBQ area with BBQ and gas hob for cooking as well as ample open space for dog walking and children to play. We are dog friendly but please be aware that we live in a rural area with lots of livestock round so please be cautious in areas with animals and keep dogs on leads in occupied fields. There is an attached shower area to with a covered and spacious composting toilet also. There is a kitchen area with food prep benches and cupboards equipped with cutlery, crockery and utensils as well as a cool box in the tent. Should you have lots of food that needs keeping cool, we have Fridge space at the farm house that you're more than welcome to use. There is indoor and outdoor dining space. We also have a large 240v solar powered battery pack with 3-point plugs and USB plugs. No WIFI but good signal and 4g available in the area. Parking is situated approximately 500 meters from the tents. There will be trollies and wheelbarrows for you to take your belongings to and from the tents but please be considerate of this when packing as the field is not flat! PLEASE BRING WELLIES OR WALKING BOOTS WITH YOU. to get to and from your car you will be walking across fields that in rain can get muddy and slippery. For extra guests, there is a surcharge per guest, per stay (maximum of 9 guests) to cover extra cleaning costs, gas, and wear and tear on the tents. Please message prior to arrival regarding fees and numbers.
