The place is amazing, the rooms are big and has a good view to nature. There are only 3 rooms which make it even better as there is no one disturbing. We really enjoy our stay and we will recommend it.

I really loved this hostel. The staff were so friendly and went out of their way to make sure the guests had a nice experience. The hostel itself is a very unique structure built on lava fields. Definitely one of the most interesting hostels I’ve ever stayed at.

Sun, the owner, was incredibly polite, friendly, and more than happy to offer suggestions about local spots to visit. The room itself fulfilled our expectations—it was clean, quiet, and exactly as described. The location was great, close to everything yet peaceful enough for a relaxing retreat. Overall, we had a fantastic experience and would highly recommend staying here!

Located on the southern coast of Honolulu Island, this hostel is one block from Kuhio Beach and the Honolulu Zoo. The Polynesian Hostel offers comfortable accommodations. Location is awesome. Only 2 minutes of walking and you are on a beach. Also the shared area is great and you can chill there.
