Situated in a pedestrian area inside Cluj-Napoca's mediaeval city wall, Hostel Retro offers 24-hour reception, free bicycles, as well as a sauna for a surcharge. Staff was exceptionally helpful, super friendly and on top of that very interesting to talk to. It’s what’s most memorable about the hostel I’d say. The atmosphere is really nice as well, easy to meet people. Location couldn’t be better. Luggage storage after check out was possible as well.

I thought the common bathroom was clean and the property was well-lit at night, both inside and outside. I also think the neighborhood was safe.
