Staff was very cooperative, thanks a lot! The place was very clean and well organized, the lockers are huge. Amazing kitchen, it even has a dishwasher and a washing machine that appears to be free, that's quite rare. Bed was comfortable, I slept well! Location is exactly in between the train station and the city center, like 10-12 minutes on foot, so it's ideal.

The location was perfect, very close to the city center, and if you didn't want to walk too much, you have a bus station about 100 meters away. The room was clean, wi-fi was fast, and the bed was comfortable.

It was very well in the middle of the city, which meant easy access to anything. It also meant no free parking places around downtown, and no warning about it. We managed eventually, with the help of friends, but warning would have been appreciated. Apart from that, everything was as advertised, and even better (generous bathroom, clean, high-end appliances, they managed to squeeze in a refrigerator, coffee maker and electric mug for tea, free change of towels). Excellent value for money, friendly staff, great location. Highly recommended.

Set in Cluj-Napoca, less than 1 km from Banffy Palace, Casa Thomas Cluj offers accommodation with a garden, free private parking, a terrace and barbecue facilities. I lucked out in finding this lodging. It is within a few hundred meters of the Cluj's Botanical Garden. It is also only a few blocks ...downhill and then level... from the city's main square. I couldn't have asked for a better location! I happened to arrive at a time when the owner/manager had arrived so we were able to arrange everything quickly. I thought the common bathroom was clean and the property was well-lit at night, both inside and outside. I also think the neighborhood was safe.
