The location was very convenient (10 min by foot from the railway station and the downtown), just in front of a bus stop which goes to the airport. The hostel has brand new equipments, toilets and bathrooms are perfectly clean, the kitchen is well equipped, there's a washing machine too. The bunk beds are high and comfortable, there's a locker for each traveler and a table in the middle of the room, which was very appreciated to work, put things on it, play games... The lockers are huge (big backpacks easily fit on them) with a wardrobe part and a small shelf to put things like toiletries. The environment is calm, and there's not that much noise from the road.

Driving there is a relatively simple process. A bus stop is also in the vicinity. It's close to the airport. When I was not at the place, I travelled with the dog that was allowed to stay in the yard with the owner's dog. I have no complaints; the bed was really comfortable.

Featuring free WiFi and a terrace, Casa Roz offers accommodation in Iris, in Cluj-Napoca, 1.3 km from the train station. Guests benefit from a bus and taxi station, ATM and currency exchange nearby. Personally, I was "checked in" very early in the morning (due to the inconvenient and tiring train journey). Also, I was allowed to leave my suitcases even after "check out"! There are very, very good employees at Casa Roz!

It also meant no free parking places around downtown, and no warning about it. We managed eventually, with the help of friends, but warning would have been appreciated. Apart from that, everything was as advertised, and even better (generous bathroom, clean, high-end appliances, they managed to squeeze in a refrigerator, coffee maker and electric mug for tea, free change of towels). Excellent value for money, friendly staff, great location. Highly recommended.

Situated in a pedestrian area inside Cluj-Napoca's mediaeval city wall, Hostel Retro offers 24-hour reception, free bicycles, as well as a sauna for a surcharge. Staff was exceptionally helpful, super friendly and on top of that very interesting to talk to. It’s what’s most memorable about the hostel I’d say. The atmosphere is really nice as well, easy to meet people. Location couldn’t be better. Luggage storage after check out was possible as well.

The location was perfect, very close to the city center, and if you didn't want to walk too much, you have a bus station about 100 meters away. The room was clean, wi-fi was fast, and the bed was comfortable.

It's close to the center, in a quiet area. Cluj is an amazing city, I felt at home in this hostel. What's more, the lady was super kind and friendly to me. I totally recommend it!

I lucked out in finding this lodging. It is within a few hundred meters of the Cluj's Botanical Garden. It is also only a few blocks ...downhill and then level... from the city's main square. I couldn't have asked for a better location! I happened to arrive at a time when the owner/manager had arrived so we were able to arrange everything quickly. I thought the common bathroom was clean and the property was well-lit at night, both inside and outside. I also think the neighborhood was safe.
