Haka House Aoraki Mt Cook ligger bland södra Alperna, 200 meter från Sir Edmund Hillary Alpine Centre. Här erbjuds utsikt över Mount Cook. The staff were great at what they were doing, and they have a free sauna. Everything was exceptional at this accommodation.

Stay In Tekapo Backpackers ligger i Lake Tekapo, 45 km från Mt. Dobson, och har en trädgård, en gemensam lounge och grillmöjligheter samt gratis WiFi. Location was literally perfect being right next to Lake Tekapo and the Dark Sky Reserve office, which is the entire reason I stayed here. The rooms are quite big with enough space for beds, everyone's belongings, and people, so I never felt stuffy or cramped. The only thing is that be careful to time your showers because the bathrooms can get pretty full between 7-9 waiting for folks to shower. Overall GREAT value and I would stay here again. Check-in office was slightly unclear, but to reduce confusion, walk through the parking lot, there is a big building on your left and two building on the right after the parking lot. Tekapo Backpackers is the righ hand side building closest to The Greedy Cow and the check-in office is by the wooden gate to the LEFT of the actual Tekapo Backpackers building.
