Staff are friendly and efficient. In the end, we stayed in a double room with a private bathroom, and it was fantastic. The room was clean, cozy, and well-equipped. Beds are comfortable. The common area was absolutely beautiful, and the kitchen and dining area were organized and spacious. Plus, it’s in the best location in town

Lakes Edge Lodge is just a 3-minute drive from Lake Tekapo town centre. A free shuttle service is available to and from Lake Tekapo bus terminal. Beds were so comfy! And cabins were cute and comfortable, right next to the lake! Kitchen was well equipped.

Situated in Lake Tekapo, 45 km from Mt. Dobson, Stay In Tekapo Backpackers has a garden, a shared lounge and barbecue facilities, as well as free WiFi. Great location—super convenient for exploring the area! The stay was okay, but there’s definitely room for improvement in the facilities and experience. The staff was kind.
