Haka House Aoraki Mt Cook ligger blandt de sydlige Alper, 200 meter fra Sir Edmund Hillary Alpine Centre, og har udsigt over Mount Cook. Sengene var gode. Fint med USB stik og sengelampe ved sengen. Dejligt med forhæng der kunne rulles for,så man var lidt privat,selv på 8 mands stuer

Denne 30.000 hektar store Merino Station ligger ved floden Ahuriri, 15 minutters kørsel fra Omaramas centrum. It’s the best deal you’ll find anywhere. Very basic and rustic but Comfortable and clean and does the job. Excellent wifi connection despite being in the middle of nowhere. A great hopping off point for day trips to lakes. Amazing star gazing at night!

Stay In Tekapo Backpackers ligger i Lake Tekapo, 45 km fra Dobson. Der er have, fælles opholdsstue, grillfaciliteter og gratis wi-fi. Location was literally perfect being right next to Lake Tekapo and the Dark Sky Reserve office, which is the entire reason I stayed here. The rooms are quite big with enough space for beds, everyone's belongings, and people, so I never felt stuffy or cramped. The only thing is that be careful to time your showers because the bathrooms can get pretty full between 7-9 waiting for folks to shower. Overall GREAT value and I would stay here again. Check-in office was slightly unclear, but to reduce confusion, walk through the parking lot, there is a big building on your left and two building on the right after the parking lot. Tekapo Backpackers is the righ hand side building closest to The Greedy Cow and the check-in office is by the wooden gate to the LEFT of the actual Tekapo Backpackers building.
