It wasn't the first time I stayed in this hostel, and each time I felt at home. The staff is amazing, great common areas with a jacuzzi outside and two kitchens well equipped ! But what I loved more than everything else is Blake, the hostel's cat, always asking for cuddles or food (in truth, mostly for food 😺).

Accommodation includes private rooms or dormitory-style rooms. All are heated and have linen provided. The private rooms offer fans and a desk. All have access to shared bathroom facilities. Great staff, Julian was very friendly and made us feel at home! The accommodation was clean and fresh.

Smoke Lake Hot Springs Lodge and Camp is in the heart of Rotorua on the edge of the famous Kuirau Geothermal Park. We are a family run business and have been here for 38 years. We welcome you for a simple bathe and stay experience. We have a restaurant onsite that is open for Breakfast, and we are happy to help you with your travels. These units have been in family for 3 decades and currently undergoing a major refurb. Although newly completed we felt very welcome and even with a few snagging things we loved our stay as we felt we were part of building new new experience. Great proximity to the pool and town centre

It is just 5 minutes' walk from the Rotorua Visitors Centre and bus stops. The property is within walking distance to a weekly night market. The staff was incredibly helpful!

Really nice staff, clean, comfy beds and you feel really at home in this hostel .
