Featuring a garden, shared lounge, terrace and free WiFi, Crashpalace Backpackers is located in Rotorua, 4.5 km from Rotorua International Stadium and 12 km from Paradise Valley Springs. It wasn't the first time I stayed in this hostel, and each time I felt at home. The staff is amazing, great common areas with a jacuzzi outside and two kitchens well equipped ! But what I loved more than everything else is Blake, the hostel's cat, always asking for cuddles or food (in truth, mostly for food 😺).

Rotorua Downtown Backpackers is a modern hostel is located in the heart of Rotorua across the road from the I-Site and major bus lines. Great staff, Julian was very friendly and made us feel at home! The accommodation was clean and fresh.

Smoke Lake Hot Springs Lodge and Camp is in the heart of Rotorua on the edge of the famous Kuirau Geothermal Park. We are a family run business and have been here for 38 years. These units have been in family for 3 decades and currently undergoing a major refurb. Although newly completed we felt very welcome and even with a few snagging things we loved our stay as we felt we were part of building new new experience.
