Situated in George Town, 1.7 km from Northam Beach, Aayu Muntri features rooms with air conditioning. Super convenient, clean and good value for money. I really enjoyed my stay here and the location was excellent.

You can always come back to take a short rest during your trip (which requires a lot of walking under the heat of the sun haha). The queen room is on the first floor so I didn’t have any trouble bringing my big luggage in. Also, the cleanliness (for room, kitchen, living room, and bathroom) is top-notch! Shane is very communicative, responds quickly, and helped me a lot during my stay. Please keep it as amazing as it is. I’ll definitely recommend this property to anyone who would like to stay in Penang, and I would go back again if I could.

My room and the whole place was very clean, wifi was very fast, had plug adaptors so I could plug in multiple things at once. Common areas are plenty and comfortable. The staff were very friendly! They recommended a great itinerary for the duration of our stay, and also recommended nice places to eat. It seems hard to find a place with a window in Georgetown - while the windows in my room couldn't open, they let in plenty of natural light

Pine Armenian is set in George Town, 2.4 km from Northam Beach and 1.8 km from Penang Times Square. The staff was nice and the beds comfortable. It was a secure building with filtered cold drinking water. Ac in rooms and bedding and bed was comfortable. I extended and would stay again.

Milan Backpacker Hostel is situated in George Town, 8.3 km from Penang Botanic Gardens and 8.8 km from Penang Hill. Absolutely recommended. Location could not be better, as it's in the heart of the old city. Space is nicely designed, keep clean. Dorm is very spacious with a lot of place to store your luggage and personal things.
