Great place to stay and the owner and staff are the best, super friendly and helpfull and make you feel very welcomecoming. Other reviews said it was a bit noisy but honestly I did not mind at all and they leave (new/fresh) earplugs in the room should you need it

Milan Backpacker Hostel is situated in George Town, 8.3 km from Penang Botanic Gardens and 8.8 km from Penang Hill. The bed, pillow and duvet are super comfy! Single pod for hostel is big enough, doesn’t feel cramp at all.. except that the picture shows blind for each pod but there is no blind, only curtain for lower deck beds..location is strategic and near to bus stop..

I had an amazing time at Someplace Else. The hostel is spotless, the staff are incredibly friendly, and the atmosphere is perfect for solo travelers. The location is also ideal for exploring the city. Everything exceeded my expectations, and I’d definitely stay here again. Highly recommend!
