We have stayed in a double room, with hot water shower and even hair dryer. For us, the fact that they also serves other meals besides breakfast (decent prices) was perfect, no need to search other locations for food after returning for day tours. There is also option for some tours that can be done on shared tuk-tuk for good price. You can write your name on a plate at the reception, so that other can see and make the arrangements together.

Everyone is so helpful and kind. Especially the receptionist named Phoud. I had to check out very early at 4am and my friend forgot to pay 2 bottle of beer. Phoud help me with her own money. You Empire Hostel & Bar features a garden, shared lounge, a terrace and bar in Pakse. Good value for money, central location, clean and comfortable. Staff are awesome! Daa was super helpful and very friendly, made my stay in Pakse awesome! Tian was also very helpful! Thank you guys!

Set in Pakse and within 300 metres of Wat Luang, Chato Hostel has a shared lounge, non-smoking rooms, and free WiFi. Chato is by far a more relaxed place. Quiet but in the middle of restaurants and cafes. Situated in front of the night market, ATMs , Korean food, even a Thai coffee shop . Chato is your best option . Skip the trendy , pricy places, as they are not always the best. Sleep well at Chato .

Booked for 2 nights, stayed for 4! The owner was lovely and helpful, and when we extended our stay they even reduced the price for us which was so nice. Clean and large rooms. Restaurant next door did great food. Sunset from the room in the evening was beautiful.
