Sanga Hostel ligger i Pakse, mindre end 5 minutters gang fra Wat Luang og kun 10 minutters gang fra Kong-floden. Alt. Personalet, specielt receptionisten var meget hjælpsom og venlig. Hun spurgte ind til vores planer og kom med råd osv. Alt i alt et fantastisk ophold, som vi virkelig nød.

Don Som Riverside Guesthouse ligger i Don Som og har have, terrasse, restaurant og bar. Der tilbydes roomservice, concierge-service og valutaveksling. We absolutely loved staying at the Don Som Riverside Guesthouse, best place to stay and eat in the 4000 islands. Our little bungalow was super confortable and the shared bathroom was spacious and always clean. We had the view on the Mekong and we spend a crazy amount of time in the hammocks in front of the bungalow. It's a bit further from the rest of the 4000 islands but definitely worth it, the owners are adorable and will do anything to help you and make your stay an awesome experience. Also the island itself is very pretty and only locals live there so if you looking to get away from touristic places, this is your spot! The food is delicious there, breakfast, mango shake and my favorite: their pad thai. Water is free and they have plenty of activities. We went fishing in the Mekong and rented their scooter to visit the different islands. We would have stayed at least a week there if we could. Highly recommend!!

We have stayed in a double room, with hot water shower and even hair dryer. For us, the fact that they also serves other meals besides breakfast (decent prices) was perfect, no need to search other locations for food after returning for day tours. There is also option for some tours that can be done on shared tuk-tuk for good price. You can write your name on a plate at the reception, so that other can see and make the arrangements together.

Chato Hostel ligger i Pakse, under 300 m fra Wat Luang, og har fælles opholdsstue, ikkerygerværelser og gratis wi-fi. Chato is by far a more relaxed place. Quiet but in the middle of restaurants and cafes. Situated in front of the night market, ATMs , Korean food, even a Thai coffee shop . Chato is your best option . Skip the trendy , pricy places, as they are not always the best. Sleep well at Chato .
