DJANGO Hostel & Lounge in Tanabe provides adults-only accommodation with a shared lounge, a terrace and a bar. Estàvem de pas per anar a Kumano Kodo. L'hostal està bastant xulo i queda a 2 min de s'estació de tren. En frente té una hamburgueseria super recomanable. L'habitació compartida eren lliteres de fusta bastant noves i ben independitzades, amb varis conectors per carregar electronica. Van ser uns 20€/nit. Molt bona opcio com a escala per anar cap a Kumano Kodo.

Kumano Backpackers is located in Tanabe and features a shared lounge and a communal kitchen. The host was very friendly and helpful. He speaks English very well, so we did not have any misunderstanig. It was very kind of him to provide us snacks and a little meal for breakfast. Also we could use the kitchen to cook our breakfast. Jam, peanut butter, coffee, tea, cacao were included. Saying honestly it was the best place to stay during whole Kumano. We highly recomend this place.

Our host was incredible and he answered all of our questions about hiking and transportation. The guesthouse is so cosy and beds + AC are so comfortable. Central location. Highly recommended!!

The owner is a great person and welcomes you with a smile, laughter and positivity. The facilities are very nice and somehow fit this small town very well. I slept well in my bunker bed for two nights. The location is only a few minute walk from Kii-Katsuura station and a 2 minute walk to the bus stop to Nachi waterfalls. Its also just a 10 minute walk to the harbour where you can take a boat to explore the BEAUTYFUL rocks in the ocean and to the left of that is a very nice beautiful walk along the ocean.

The guesthouses is located in a quiet area of Minabe amidst plum orchards. It is a renovated traditional house of a plum farmer, smells wonderfully of wood and is very peaceful. I had the best stay imaginable here, thanks to the friendly owner, the incredible house and the kind locals living in Minabe.
