Friendly owners on hand, beautiful tatami room with views of mountains and forest. Quiet neighborhood and beautiful area. An easy and fun 8 minute tram ride from center. Walk to inn was easy to find the way. Great price

Located in Goto, 1.2 km from Ohama Beach, ako house provides accommodation with a garden, free private parking, a terrace and barbecue facilities. It was definitely our highlight of Goto island experience. Ako tree, the symbol of the accommodation was absolutely beautiful, and the owners were very kind and helpful, made us feel very welcomed. We stayed at double/ twin room, but there are bunk beds too if you are travelling solo or if you have kids. The common area is very nice, you have toys upstairs for kids, little space for everyone.

Located in Goto and within 15 km of Fukue Catholic Church, ta bi to〈旅人〉 features a shared lounge, non-smoking rooms, and free WiFi. My stay here was fantastic. The guesthouse is comfortable and cosy with a great shower and lovely living space. The cafe, associated with the guesthouse, has delicious scones and coffee. Our host went above and beyond to help us when one of my friends had to attend hospital, helping to translate and driving us around. Could not recommend staying here more.

Situated in Tsushima, 2.1 km from Miuda Beach, Midori Guesthouse&Hostel features views of the mountain. Host was very considerate, and explained things to me concisely and thoroughly when I arrived so I didn't have to ask any questions. Room was very clean, quiet, small towels were provided and there was also underfloor heating which you can adjust yourself. I learned a little bit about the history of Tsushima and was recommended some of the places worth going to visit, before renting an electrical-assist bike for ¥1500 until 3pm. Good location with access to some nice shops nearby.

Located in Nagasaki, within 1 km of Nagasaki Atomic Bomb Museum and 1.6 km of Peace Park, Mezame Hostel provides accommodation with a bar. Very clean and organized, showers, sinks, common area, and beds were exceptionally clean. Felt very safe and welcoming. Was very quiet and easy to navigate, temperature in the rooms was perfectly on the cool side (but with plenty of blankets provided). Iron, ice water, toaster, and kitchenette in the common room. Beds felt very private for what they were. Everything you need in a hostel and much nicer than I expected for the price.

ROUTE - Cafe and Petit Hostel is located in Nagasaki, within 2.6 km of Nagasaki Atomic Bomb Museum and 3.2 km of Peace Park. Stylish interior, great location, and the friendliest staff/owners. The breakfast (which can be bought in the cafè below the hostel) is superb. Would love to stay again.

Casa Blanca Guesthouse is located in Nagasaki, 4.2 km from Nagasaki Atomic Bomb Museum and 4.8 km from Peace Park. Staff were nice and they have free breakfast!

Located in the heart of Nagasaki, Hostel Casa Noda features free Wi-Fi available in all areas. The hostel has a rooftop terrace. Guests can use the washing machine placed at the rooftop. The room is comfortable, clean, location is very convenient, and the window view is mesmerizing. We have found a kettle, a mini fridge and some cups in our room.

Situated in Nagasaki and with Peace Park reachable within 500 metres, Wagyu hostel nedoko features a terrace, allergy-free rooms, free WiFi and a bar. It‘s like staying at someone’s home, really. The beds are comfortable, everything is clean, and the owner is very welcoming. Everyone got a little amuse bouche, so to speak, when paying in cash. And it was so delicious. I read a lot about the rules. At first I thought they seemed strict, but really it‘s just basic manners. Just don‘t be rude, I got my deposit back, no problem.
