Basecamp Wales offers family-run hostel accommodation in Llanllyfni, on the edge of the Snowdonia National Park and 30.3 km from Pen-Y-Pass and 8.2 km to the beach at Dinas Dinlle. Lovely countryside location. Bus connections within 10-15 min walk taking you all over Snowdonia and beyond. Views of Snowdon directly outside the window Really nice people who own and run the hostel. Whole place feels very clean!

Situated in a converted school house, Lodge Dinorwig is located in Dinorwig, 8 km from Snowdon. Free private parking is available on site. I liked everything welcoming, food, place, owners. All there was good. Beautiful and cozy place. The owners were friendly and helpful.

The atmosphere in the hostel is pleasant, there is room to chill, have a drink/food and play games and everyone is there to hike. The buses in front of the hostel take you around the park - convenient.
