Basecamp Wales offers family-run hostel accommodation in Llanllyfni, on the edge of the Snowdonia National Park and 30.3 km from Pen-Y-Pass and 8.2 km to the beach at Dinas Dinlle. Loved the location. Loved the staff. Loved the room. Loved the view from the room. Loved waking up to grazing Marie Mcooo's outside our window. Loved the private bathroom for the price. Loved the spacious parking lot.

Situated in a converted school house, Lodge Dinorwig is located in Dinorwig, 8 km from Snowdon. Free private parking is available on site. I liked everything welcoming, food, place, owners. All there was good. Beautiful and cozy place. The owners were friendly and helpful.

Located in Caernarfon and within 13 km of Snowdon Mountain Railway, Totters Hostel features a shared lounge, non-smoking rooms, and free WiFi. The owner met us and welcomed us warmly. Our room was very comfortable. The shared bathroom was clean and functioned well. The dining and living areas were well-kept. The basement dining room is really lovely - ancient and rare. Continental breakfast with multiple options. Location was exceptional. Plenty of public street parking and paid parking nearby. We found a free spot to use overnight. If we had needed to pay, it was minimal. I highly recommend this hostel.

Placed at the foot of Snowdon Mountain, the YHA Snowdon Pen-y-Pass is surrounded by stunning Welsh landscape in a rural location, with no mobile phone signal - offering guests a break from technology.... Staff is great and extremely helpful and friendly. Thank you! The room was super nice, we could lie in bed and look at the mountains. There was also a sink, which was very comfortable. The atmosphere in the hostel is pleasant, there is room to chill, have a drink/food and play games and everyone is there to hike. The buses in front of the hostel take you around the park - convenient.
