A very comfortable, homey place, close to the Ancient town but in a less touristy neighborhood full of eateries. The manager was extremely helpful in helping me to book a bus for the gorge hike. They also let me store my luggage on the night of the hike.

Yi's Hostel is a 10-minute walk from Guishan Park and Moonlight Square. Walking Street is a 15-minute walk away. Great property with lots of character, comfy cabin style (traditional Tibetan) clean rooms. The owner is a friendly chap who will happily have a chat with you and recommend things to do. The food is also decent (especially the Yak pizza). I would stay again.

They can help you with all kinds of questions, about food and phone cards etc The cafe is very homely and has great food. The espressos are excellent. The neighbourhood is perfect. With a farmer's market and many smaller restaurants. I can't wait to come back.

We were welcomed with tea and some exotic fruits.

The location is great, in the old town, it was clean, comfy, the heating was on and we got a nice view of the nearby temple and the prices atcwverything were also great.
