Operated by the local Nakhi people and enjoying a history of 15 years, Mama Naxi Guesthouse is a family-style hostel offering cosy accommodation in Lijiang. Free WiFi is accessible in all areas. A very comfortable, homey place, close to the Ancient town but in a less touristy neighborhood full of eateries. The manager was extremely helpful in helping me to book a bus for the gorge hike. They also let me store my luggage on the night of the hike.

Yi's Hostel is located in Shangri-La, close to Dafo Temple. Free Wi-Fi access is available. Yi's Hostel is a 10-minute walk from Guishan Park and Moonlight Square. Great property with lots of character, comfy cabin style (traditional Tibetan) clean rooms. The owner is a friendly chap who will happily have a chat with you and recommend things to do. The food is also decent (especially the Yak pizza). I would stay again.

Lijiang Desti Youth Park Hostel has free bikes, garden, a shared lounge and terrace in Lijiang. L'entorn és molt tranquil i agradable. El personal va ser molt amable durant la meva estada i em va ajudar a resoldre diferents dubtes. Tenen bicicletes disponibles gratis. Tot i no estar en molt bones condicions, em van permetre explorar la zona (molt recomanable). L'habitació estava molt ben equipada i neta. Hi ha zones comunes molt convenients per relacionar-se amb altres viatgers. L'hostal s'esforça en organitzar activitats com música en directe o passis de pel·lícules.

A wonderful spacious room in a very welcoming place. The staff are super friendly and helpful. They can help you with all kinds of questions, about food and phone cards etc The cafe is very homely and has great food. The espressos are excellent. The neighbourhood is perfect. With a farmer's market and many smaller restaurants. I can't wait to come back.

We have been upgraded in a private room with the view on the Rice terrasses. We talked a lot with Jacky, very available, about the everyday life in the village.

A nice, friendly and quiet place at a very central location in the wonderful city center of JianShui. We were welcomed with tea and some exotic fruits.

El Floral Hotel · Shangri-la Blue Sky està situat a Shangri-La, a 700 m del parc Guishan i a 4,4 km de la sala d'exposicions del tresor enterrat del temple de Songzanlin. The staff was amazing, providing us with a complimentary oxygen generator for the night, as my wife had altitude sickness symptoms. The location is great, in the old town, it was clean, comfy, the heating was on and we got a nice view of the nearby temple and the prices atcwverything were also great.

Located in the centre of Wuhua District, Kunming, Kunming Upland International Youth Hostel near the city center ,2 mins walk to the subway, 2 mins walk to the Green Lake, Close to Yuan tong Temple,... very friendly staff. helped with all questions. the outside area was nice to relax and had a nice breeze in June. roof top sunset area waa beautiful to enjoy and have a beer. not far from down town but quite.enough at night. cheapish drinks
