Budget travelers know there's no better way to make the most of their trip than by staying at a hostel: Save money for exploring during the day, and swap stories with fellow backpackers in the shared kitchen or bar in the evening. Dorm-style bedrooms with shared bathrooms are standard hostel fare, but private rooms are also available for those willing to pay a little more.

Cheap room for two in Oslo. Very easy to reach from main train station. Would recommend this room only if it is the cheapest option available and you're on a tight budget. Was an acceptable experience, nothing bad.

Great location a few minutes walk from railway station for the Airport express train. Central for transport shops and cafes. Like any big city a few unsavoury types outside but we did not feel unsafe. Front desk staff knowledgeable and friendly, best buffet breakfast ever seen, plus complimentary afternoon tea and a light dinner so incredible value in an expensive country.

The hostel is at a great location although at least locals say that is a bit shady area. Just across the river is a bery nice bohemian creative neighbourhood that looks and feels much safer. Staff of the hostel is wonderful, friendly and helpful. Common areas are nicely designed and quite comfortable. Checkin and checkout was very quick and efficient.

Great location, so close to the central train station (with easy connections to airport) and all the highlights of Oslo. The lobby and common areas are modern and funky and make you feel less like you are at a budget hotel. Definitely a boutique version of budget. Bed was comfy and the room, though small as expected, was functional. Cheap coffee in the lobby!

Always like this place for short trip to Oslo with friends. It is cozy and clean room in norwegian minimalistisk style with all that you need. Only thing is a kettle, we do need it in the room. Great hostel, especially if you like new people and meetings, they have great location and big common area. It is cool that now sheets are free, they give you towels as well. Takk takk!

Great little hotel - budget option for someone who wants some space and privacy without the hotel price-tag. I had been staying in a combination of hostels and hotels for a long trip and this was a great economical option for a break from dormitory life. Great location, close to train station, sight-seeing and some lovely cafes, bars and restaurants.

Great location and communal areas. Self checkin is smooth and given the crazy expensive prices in Oslo, this is a more budget alternative to regular hotel rooms (though still not cheap!)
