Surrounded by the greenery of Oslo’s Grefsen neighbourhood, this hostel is 4 km from the city centre. It offers access to a fully equipped kitchen, garden with BBQ and free WiFi in public areas.
Communal rooms at the hostel include a TV lounge, as well as a library. A laundry room is available at Haraldsheim, along with vending machines with drinks and snacks. Outdoor furniture can be enjoyed when the weather is nice.
First of all, we liked Mr. Pål at the reception very much. The hostel definitely provides one of best values for money, the room was clean and breakfast included was a great mix of local food and the usual choices. Highly recommend it.

I must say that the accommodation is very nice. There is a kitchenette, drying room, and laundry room available on the floor. The beds were very comfortable, and the rooms wonderfully quiet. The rooms are in a different building from where breakfast is served, and the breakfast is very plentiful. Transportation to the city center is accessible, but it doesn't run very frequently.

Featuring a sun terrace, this property is located a short distance from Akershus Fortress, The Royal Palace and The Royal Palace Park. The accommodation provides a shared kitchen and a shared lounge for guests. It’s a room inside of a large apartment with a kitchen and a bathroom and a living room + balcony. Other guests stay in other bedrooms of the apartment. Kitchen hat anything you could ask for and the bathroom was good too. Good waterpressure. The room was big and comfortable!

Lively hostel for family and backpackers, good kitchen to prepare your meals. So nice to sit outside and look out over the city in the evenings!
Great location a few minutes walk from railway station for the Airport express train. Central for transport shops and cafes. Like any big city a few unsavoury types outside but we did not feel unsafe. Front desk staff knowledgeable and friendly, best buffet breakfast ever seen, plus complimentary afternoon tea and a light dinner so incredible value in an expensive country.
A clean, comfortable budget option close to train, bus and the city centre. Pleasant and efficient staff. Cafe and roof terrace. Cheap food options nearby.

It was the cheapest hostel I could find in Oslo. Location is close - walkable to centre. The hostel price was expensive compared to other european cities. But I guess these are normal prices for Norway.
Great location, so close to the central train station (with easy connections to airport) and all the highlights of Oslo. The lobby and common areas are modern and funky and make you feel less like you are at a budget hotel. Definitely a boutique version of budget. Bed was comfy and the room, though small as expected, was functional. Cheap coffee in the lobby!
Great little hotel - budget option for someone who wants some space and privacy without the hotel price-tag. I had been staying in a combination of hostels and hotels for a long trip and this was a great economical option for a break from dormitory life. Great location, close to train station, sight-seeing and some lovely cafes, bars and restaurants.
