The location is great, very short distance from the bus station. It's great value for money, the dorm rooms are clean and comfortable, and the addition of the swimming pools is a huge bonus in the value! Also lots of chill out areas to relax.

I loved that you were surrounded by jungle at this hotel. Iguanas and monkeys all around you. Staff were really friendly and the food in the restaurant was great.

I had one of the two top floor balcony apartments, and really worth the extra cost. It was fabulous under the canopy and a great place to take in the sights whilst having breakfast, facing the sunrise and by mid morning it’s in the shade with a cooling breeze. I spent a lot of time chilling and reading my book with a cold beer, wonderful 😁👍 Jorge is great and welcoming host and full of great ideas and advice.

Excellent choice to live in the area, very neat a spacious (2-bedroom house). A bit far from the center so you need a car to get there, but it is surrounded by forest, so we saw iguanas, howling monkeys and scarlet aras from there.

The place surprised me. Real hostel. I stayed at the private room, it was huge with a nice bathroom.
At first sight the street and the outside appearance isn't good. But inside the place is nice, comfortable, the bedroom was good and the staff (Roberto and Alison) were amazing.

Budget travellers know that there is no better way to make the most of their trip than by staying at a hostel: save money for exploring during the day, and swap stories with fellow backpackers in the shared kitchen or bar in the evening. Dorm-style bedrooms with shared bathrooms are standard hostel fare, but private rooms are also available for those willing to pay a bit more.
One of the best hostels I've stayed at here in Costa Rica. Super friendly and helpful staff, the breakfast was delightful, spacious dorman and great facilities. The pool and common area are definitely a huge plus!
The best hostel I have been to in Costa Rica! Surrounded by nature, cleaned every day and very helpful staff. I especially like the spacious dorm rooms and it was a nice temperature, even though there was no AC.
This place is not cheap but it’s a step up in terms of hostels. Definitely more of a classy hotel. Perfect if you want some relaxed space to take a few days out of your travelling.
Liked the atmosphere, pools, attention to detail with free yoga and welcome drinks. The quality of beds (2 pillows!), shower and toiletries provided.
Nice hostel, very well located. When I got there I thought I would need to rent a scooter or something, but it’s so easy to go to the beach and to Manuel Antonio with the bus service that I ended up just using that. So, cheaper but still amazingly easy!
The staff is amazing! There is a warm and welcoming atmosphere and the facilities are nice. The breakfast is also really good. One of the best hostels I’ve been to!
The best place we stayed in Costa Rica! Huge, clean and comfortable room, squirrel monkeys and agoutis outside, wonderful helpful staff (Emmanuel). Great location very close to the (super cheap and frequent) bus down to MA beach. Couldn't recommend it more highly, we were really sad to leave.
Stay there was a blast! I felt extremely comfortable and safe. Was supposed to stay as the only girl with 4 guys in the room, when the owners offered me a room in their family house!! Moreover, they were very helpful with the information about buses, national park and nearby attractions. Place per se is spacious and clean, with lots of fans. Kitchen is also well-equiped. Felt more like a homestay, rather than hippie hostel.
great location to get to national park as just jump on public bus on main road. loved the free jungles treks behind hostel. I liked how they had a smoking area and was able to store luggage and staff were nice. we were provided towels. liked that there was a kitchen to use. loved all the trees and outlay of place.
