Surrounded by greenery and 300 metres from the An Binh Ferry Stop, Nam Thanh Homestay offers dormitory and private rooms with free WiFi on An Bình island - Vĩnh Long. Breakfast good and plentiful. We stayed for two weeks and they never served the same thing twice in a row. Items off menu for other meals were delicious. There are not a lot of eating options on the island but after two weeks we scoped out everything to be had. The location was lovely and the grounds were beautifully kept. The free bicycles were a bonus.

What a lovely place!! What a gem! I stayed for two nights, and wish I had stayed for a week. This place is «worth the detour» - the terrace and restaurant on the river is absolutely stunning, and the garden is SO beautiful and lush! I booked the little cabin for myself - it is literally ON the river, and you fall asleep to the sound of boats passing by and little waves hitting the shore. Absolutely amazing view of the Mekong river - and what a sunset! Apart from the location and view: Super friendly staff, great pool, good food. I got help with literally everything I needed help with, and felt SO welcome. Met great people as well, which is important for me as a solo traveler.

EVERYTHING! - Absolutely comfortable home stay with delicious food prepared by Hong’s mother and her staff. She went out of her way to make us feel comfortable at her home. She helped us booking bus tickets to get there, motorbike transportation, boat tours, motorbike, etc. The rooms are spacious, beds and pillows very comfortable. We took bicycles to discover the beautiful area, then a motorbike to go a bit further away. We loved Hong’s family, the food, the home. Thank you very much, it was a pleasure to stay at such a beautiful peaceful place.

Featuring free bikes and a spacious garden, Phuong Thao Homestay offers rooms in Vihn Long, 2 km from the An Binh Ferry Stop. Guests can rent canoes to move along the Cổ Chiên River. Very helpful and sympathic staff. Nice and clean typical wooden room. Decent breakfast. Good dinner at reasonable price. You can book some excursions (boat tour...) or borrow a bike to discover the area by your own. Last but not least : cool down at the swimming pool after a hot day!
