There are not a lot of eating options on the island but after two weeks we scoped out everything to be had. The location was lovely and the grounds were beautifully kept. The free bicycles were a bonus.

This place is «worth the detour» - the terrace and restaurant on the river is absolutely stunning, and the garden is SO beautiful and lush! I booked the little cabin for myself - it is literally ON the river, and you fall asleep to the sound of boats passing by and little waves hitting the shore. Absolutely amazing view of the Mekong river - and what a sunset! Apart from the location and view: Super friendly staff, great pool, good food. I got help with literally everything I needed help with, and felt SO welcome. Met great people as well, which is important for me as a solo traveler.

We took bicycles to discover the beautiful area, then a motorbike to go a bit further away. We loved Hong’s family, the food, the home. Thank you very much, it was a pleasure to stay at such a beautiful peaceful place.
