Ilda, his sister, and mum Juana delivered amazing local food, dish after dish of local food. With comfy beds topped with llama blankets, we had an exceptional stay. From sharing English phrases for Quechua with Ernesto to drinking local tea, watching the sunsets, to hiking the local trails, I can not recommend enough.

Nastanitev Richar’s home - experience Amantani with my family je v mestu Ocosuyo in ponuja restavracijo, shrambo za prtljago ter pogled na jezero. Loved it all, had the space to unwind, the rooms are 10/10 with a beautiful lake view but also super cosy. The food cooked by Richard’s wife was perfection, arriving to a beautiful fresh fish lunch with home grown potatoes was nothing short of excellence. I got to explore the village on my own as I needed some time to recover, and in the evening we made a fire after dinner, and danced to local music in local clothes, couldn’t ask for a better night, topped off by a beautiful night sky. Overall 10/10

Nastanitev Tikawasi Homestay Comunidad Pueblo Isla Amantani José Luis se nahaja v mestu Ocosuyo in nudi vrt, teraso ter razgled na mesto. This was the best stay we had in all of our travels in Peru. José Luis met us at the dock, and walked us up to the property. At the time of this writing it is late January, and there was an abundance flowers in bloom. The property was gorgeous, and our spacious room over looked Lake Titicaca. The bed was comfortable, and the huge bathroom was spotless! The family was warm, and very easy to love! Pilar is an excellent cook! There was a separate dinning room for guests, but we preferred to eat in the family kitchen as it was so cozy. My boyfriend got the experience of harvesting potatoes, and we escorted José’s mother to get hay for the sheep. If you get to meet Fernanda you will love her. She is an absolute delight! If we could give our stay 100 stars we would!!! We will be back!
